Fatih Mosque – Designed and built by Fatih Architect Yusuf Sinan, the mosque was the first mosque in Istanbul by order of an Ottoman sultan. At the same time, on January 30, 1932, the Turkish azan was read for the first time in this mosque.
In the Fatih Mosque Complex, there are structures such as madrasah, tabhane, hospital and bath. All of the structures within the complex are placed symmetrically, and a mosque was built in the middle. For this reason, this place was seen as a religious and cultural center in Istanbul, as a very important point in terms of urban planning.
